Beholder
Beholders are a race of evil, magical creatures. They resemble a floating eyeball with eyestalks above their huge central eye. They are natural despots usually ruling over hordes of lesser beings like kobolds and goblins in their underground empires. They are also usually affiliated with drow and mind flayers.

Beholders are evil to the core. Their only ambition in life is to rule with misery over creatures they consider lesser than them. They are innate spell-casters, with powerful abilities associated with their multitude of eyes.

Class inclination
Beholders make powerful spell-casters but are poor in other classes, as they lack prehensile limbs to ply a trade requiring arms.
