Centaurs are a rugged and athletic race. Their physique combines
the torso, head and arms of a muscular man with the body of a powerful
horse. Typically hirsute, they wear manes of long, wild hair and
rarely shave. Centaurs disdain clothing, finding it uncomfortable
and impractical for their equine bodies.
Born from dreams of passion and lust, these cousins to the satyrs
used to be associated with drunkenness, licentious behaviour and
physical violence. They have mellowed over time into skilled horticulturists
and still enjoy an outdoor lifestyle that allows them to be close
to natural environment. They tend to travel in tribes and stay among
their own kind in isolated communities.
Centaurs are extremely agile and make excellent archers, but are
versatile enough to fill most roles.
