Human
If there ever was an epitome of average, humans would be it. They used to be the most common race in HOTL, but have since become pretty rare as new, dominant races spread. Perhaps their lack of special talents had something to do with it.

In any case, humans make up for the lack of such abilities by being extremely versatile and appropriate for almost any class. Also, humans, unlike other races, have the standard body parts and suffer no vulnerabilities.

Class inclination
Humans have no particular inclination to start with, but given extensive training and specialisation, they are perfectly capable of anything.

Humans have no special genes.
