Cyclops are huge beings with a single, red eye in the middle of
their foreheads. Shaggy black or dull, deep blue hair falls in a
tangled mass about their heads and shoulders, with skin tone varying
from ruddy brown to muddy yellow. Their impressive stamina rivals
that of the ogres and dwarves.
Cyclops are strong and stubborn, but usually abrupt of emotion,
and their every action ebbs with violence and power. The very first
generation of cyclops were the inventive blacksmiths of the gods.
Skilled metallurgists, they forged such artifacts as Zeus' thunderbolts,
Poseidon's trident and Hades' Helmet of Darkness. After these were
killed by Apollo, the cyclops then evolved into lawless shepherds
with no reverence for the gods.
Cyclops make fine warriors, but would have a hard
time fitting into other professions.
