How many pieces of equipment can I wear? |
|
That depends on your race, which dictates how many body parts
you have. Type 'info' to check this. Humans and demi-humans,
having a head, torso, two hands and two legs, can wear 14
items. But titans, who have four arms, may wear two sets of
sleeves, gloves and bracelets, and hold four items. And wraiths,
being ethereal creatures, cannot wear anything at all!

Yes, you may store items of up to 10 levels higher than your
current level in the bank and withdraw them when you can use
them.

My equipment is lousy! I can't find anything better for my
level. What can I do? |
|
First, if you are level 10 and not wearing a full set of sub
issue equipment, there should be no cause for worry. But if
you're really paranoid, you can get your stuff enchanted. Look
for a magic-user who's learnt the books of Enchantment & Advanced
Enchantment and ask him nicely to help you. Enchanted armor
gives better protection, while enchanted weapons deal more damage.
If the magic-user is versed in Advanced Enchantment, you can
get your weapon blessed. This will give it a hitroll bonus.
Another option: if your weapon is bladed, you can get it sharpened
by others who have the skill to do it. |

I got zapped by my equipment and it hurt! What gives?? |
|
It means that the equipment has an alignment restriction.
If you're evil, you'll not be able to wear - and will even suffer
damage from - items that have an anti-evil flag. The same goes
for anti-good and anti-neutral flagged equipment. Of course,
some items just don't have any alignment restrictions at all. |
