How many levels of play are there? |
|
There are fifty levels.

Is there life after level 50? |
|
Yes. HOTL3 provides for virtually unlimited leveling through fusion or rebirth. You get to 'restart' your character and build it up to become (hopefully) more powerful. Read
the section on fusion in the Player's
Guide for more details.
There are many other things you can do at level 50. How about
exploring the lands and making your own maps? Giving newbies
a helping hand? Going for quests and participating in war?

What are some good places for low level players to gain experience? |
|
Apart from the obvious MUD School and Arena, there are places
like the Mob Factory, Lilliput, Gnome Village, The Circus, New
Thalos, Holy Grove, and Solace. Check the area
list for suitable areas, or type 'area' in the game. |

Leveling alone is so tough, what can I do? |
|
Find a group to join, or form your own group. There is power
in numbers. Getting into a group is one of the fastest ways
for a newbie to raise levels. Pets are not really working the
way they should for now, but we're trying to fix that. |

Why did I gain so few practices as compared with my group
mates? |
|
Check the date - did you level in a month that's compatible
to your zodiac sign? Check the moon - did you level when a moon
of opposite alignment was shining? And what equipment did you
wear while killing the monsters? Were your attributes maxed
out? Did you remember to train your attributes so that you get
a bonus? |
