Peon (2)
Prerequisites:
Melee
|
Switch Weapon |
This skill allows you to switch from
weapon to weapon as you wish during a battle. Be careful when switching
from single-handed weapons to two-handed ones as you may need to give
up holding something else. |
Snare |
This skill basically allows you to trap your victim within the
battle so that he can't flee. However, being airborne helps to avoid
being snared.
|
Grunt (4)
Prerequisites:
Melee, Melee Defense, Peon
|
Poultice |
The art of preparing poultices is undoubtedly handy. This skill
allows you to use movement points to heal yourself or your friends
of physical injury.
|
Remedy |
When blinded, poisoned or afflicted with disease, a more potent
cure is needed. This skill allows you to use movement points to remove
such ill-effects.
|
Forging (3)
Prerequisites:
Melee, Melee Defense, Peon, Grunt
|
Mining |
The ablity to detect and prepare
precious ore in mountainous areas for the forging of weapons is a
specialty of the weaponmaster. The type of ore found can range from
metallic to elemental to other exotic materials. |
Forging |
Coupled with this skill, your expertise in weaponry allows you
to craft a whole range of toys. While most of the weapons you forge
will be normal implements, there is a small chance that you'll create
one with special abilities.
|
Weaponmaster (2)
Prerequisites:
Melee
|
Pierce |
With an improved technique of using small, sharp weapons like daggers
and darts, you will be able to deliver crippling pierces with ease.
Damage will improve with higher damroll.
|
Smash |
With an improved technique of using blunt weapons like maces and
flails, you will be able to deliver crushing smashes with ease. Damage
will improve with higher damroll.
|
Shieldbash |
As far as you're concerned, anything can be used as a weapon. And
shields, being large and solid, are especially good for giving your
opponent a good bash on his head. Damage will improve with higher
damroll.
|
Advanced Weaponmaster (4)
Prerequisites:
Melee, Peon, Weaponmaster
|
Feint |
A deceptive trick, feinting allows weaponmasters to force an opponent
into a particular position, and catching him vulnerable to a slashing
sword coming in from where he least expects it. As it is basically
a gamble, feinting should be used with care. Your intended victim may not
fall for it and you'll end up exposing yourself to danger.
|
Cleave |
As a weaponmaster, dangerous weapons
become mere extensions of your arms. A powerful swing of your axe
will cleave your victim like a hot knife through butter. |
Impale |
As a weaponmaster, dangerous weapons
become mere extensions of your arms. A well-aimed spear will debilitate
your opponent and may even pierce through his heart. |
Specialise Weaponmaster (4)
Prerequisites:
Melee, Melee Defense, Peon, Grunt, Forging, Adv Weaponmaster
|
Entangle |
The whip is one of the most difficult weapons to master, but it
is also one of the most versatile tools. With your expertise, you
can inflict intense pain and damage, and even leave your victim helplessly
caught in your flicking, swirling lashes.
|
Toughhide |
Years of practice and experience in combat transform the epidermis
of your skin into a tough, resistant shell. This improves your armor
class and strengthens your overall resistance.
|
Anticipate |
At the pinnacle of your skill, your
senses are finely attuned to combat and your reflexes are honed to
perfection. Nothing else matters in a battle except the battle. You'll
develop the innate ability to anticipate and dodge your opponents'
devastating magical and physical attacks. |
