Money

The basic unit of currency is gold, in the form of coins.

Money can be obtained in several ways:

• Killing monsters and looting their corpses for gold
• Sacrificing corpses or items to deities
• Winning wars
• Winning duels (if gold is at stake)
• Completing quests (not all quests)
• Auctioning items
• Selling items to appropriate shopkeepers (provided they buy)

Money could be used for several things:

• Buy equipment and weapons
• Buy books (to learn skills/spells)
• Buy food and drink (for survival)
• Pay for healing services
• Buy potions, staves and scrolls
• To gain levels
• To join quests
• To join clans
